En PassantEn Passant is a unique way that pawns can capture other pawns. When a pawn makes a two-hex move that passes a hex protected by an opponent's pawn, the pawn that was passed can capture the passing pawn "en passant" by moving to the hex that was passed, then removing the passing pawn from the chess board.
